'Vet School Dowsett' has a parentage which is no other than the most sort after bloodlines of days gone by. 'Blue Moon Mystic' is by foundation sire 'Abbey' and 'Vet School Rivoli Wendy' is by 'Yallatup Rivoli Rex' out of 'Vet School Jewel'. 'Vet School Jewel' is by 'Donrica Beacon' out of 'Vet School Ruby'. 'Donrica Beacon' is a grandson of 'Nabinabah The Gun'.
'Vet School Dowsett' was bred and born at the Vet School in Pinjarra Hills, Brisbane. He was sold to Gatton College as a 2 year old for their breeding programme. We were fortunate enough to purchase him as a 4 year old at auction. The college kept a colt to continue with that line of breeding.

His eldest progeny is 7 and in fact "Gatton College Golden Mystic" He is standing at Daiquiri Stud in nearby Aratula.

'Vet School Dowsett' won his maiden in his third start at Allora last year. 'Vet School Dowsett' has a wonderful temperment which he appears to be instilling in his offspring. We have absolutely no problem letting any of our children near him or even to feed him. He is a pleasure to ride and we are looking forward to breaking in our first crop of his yearlings later on this year. If you are wanting to breed 'bone' back into your stockhorses, then 'Vet School Dowsett' could be 'the' stallion you need.

2007 Stud fee is $715- which is gst inclusive and also includes a nonrefundable but deductible $165- booking and handling fee. Vet and agistment are by arrangement. Live Foal Guarantee included.
